15 Day Challenges: Day 3

Dear all lovely readers,

I apologise if I slow down my post rates and shorten the amounts I post as, well, I'm failing my GCSE mocks and exams currently. PAHA! But I will complete the 15 day challenge before slowing down, I promise my lovelies!

Anyways, today is day 3 of this challenge... woo?

SSN Challenge:

3) A song/poem you know by heart and will never forget... I have a song and poem for you here ;) get me! Let's start with the poem. William Blake...

(That's all I know... Ahaa!) Why do I know this? Because I wrote a poem for one of my 'novels' influenced by this poem xD It was such footle! Ahahahaaa! But good times, they really were. I would write it out here but that would just be asking for people to laugh at me! I used to love writing... novels, quotes, poems and all that. I am tempted to gather a collection of quotes and make a blog post about it because they weren't THAT bad... I hope LOL! You'd still probably laugh at me though, sad times. D:

Now onto the song. Most people won't have heard this song before till recently (if you spend a lot of time listening to Katy Perry on YouTube)... don't worry, it's not a Katy Perry song! Ahahaa! But I didn't hear it from Katy Perry, I heard it from childhood times and my mother used to sing it to me ^-^ My primary school always sang this song in assembly and stuff, no idea why. We were a strange school. I only knew part of the song but earlier, I decided to YouTube the song and I realised the rest of the song is more touching than the part I knew. There are a billion versions of this classic song but the one I have found is the Johnny Cash version. Let me copy&paste the lyrics that I knew before listening to it again (purely because it's too much effort to type out):

It's such a sweet song and it reminds me of childhood times. Yes, I know it's not really up to date but I love it, I really do ^-^! I often start singing it to myself when I'm nervous or scared :P hehee! You may be thinking 'How the f*ck does this relate to Katy Perry, you moron?'... well it was played in the background of her song 'The one that got away' on YouTube. *Note that it is not played in radio versions.* I YouTubed the 'You are my Sunshine' song and saw a load of comments saying 'Katy Perry brought me here' and 'The only reason this got so many views is cos of Katy Perry' and I thought NO WAY DID KATY PERRY SING THAT so I YouTube searched Katy Perry's song and realised... hehe!:P

15 Day Life Challenge:

3) Last movie you saw and your thoughts on it. Source Code starring Jake Gyllenhaal. ^-^ Good film man! Plot: It's about some guy that gets trapped in this machine which makes him live a disaster and die in it for 8 minutes each time (as I remember) so that he can work out who the murderer is. He is sent back many times and he slowly falls in love with a woman however he watches her die each time. He tries many different tactics to find the murderer and well, you have to watch it to see ;) It's a really good film and I would definitely recommend it. My friend (Sara) and I were watching it during Christmas Holidays back at my place during a sleepover and we were SO amazed at it... definitely worth watching! If anyone reading this has watched it, I'd love to hear your views on the film!

Well now that's over, I have had a request from David to upload a YouTube video onto here of a song I introduced to him around an hour ago so here it is:

 The song is called 9 Crimes and it's by Damien Rice. It was probably one of the only songs I could play on piano around 3 years ago ;D... Enjoy!

Another song I would like to share is a Chinese song by Elva. I introduced a friend called Zi to this song a few days ago and he liked it so here it is:

I made sure it had English subtitles because most people reading this probably won't be able to understand it. A girl that is like a sister to me told me about this song and downloaded it onto my iPod for me, enjoy this as well. I think it's a nice song. ^-^
